Joseph DeBeasi

Joseph S. DeBeasi is a composer and conductor whose film scores include the underscore for
Clint Eastwoods’s Oscar-nominated,
American Sniper, Kidnapped for Christ, Eleven Eleven
and Alpha directed by Albert Hughes, for which his is co-composer. Alpha’s score was listed
in the top ten best scores for 2018 by Film Music magazine. His has been praised for his blend
of creative electronic sounds and traditional instrumentation. His use of melody and harmonic
subtext embody the heart of his musical storytelling.

His concert work includes appearances as guest conductor for the US Army Field Concert Band
and Soldier’s Chorus for the concert,
Generations of Honor, The Soundtrack of the American
and Sinfonia and Sinfonia II: Connecting Arts & the Community, honoring military
members past and present, where
The American Sniper Suite had its world premiere in

Joseph is also known for his work as a music editor on films such as Queen & Slim, Bad Boys 3,
Wind River, The Revenant, Sicario, Prisoners, and Book of Eli.
